When they call it, it will connect them to you wherever you are in 140 countries. For this toll-free connection, you would pay 69¢ per minute to receive those calls but they would be calling you for free. If, instead, you don't want to pay for these calls, just give them your European cell phone number. They will call you on it and you will receive the calls for free in 40 countries and at very low rates in other places. You would not pay 69¢ per minute to receive these calls.
Why do we provide this feature? Many RangeRoamer users have close family and friends and want to make sure that they can be contacted while traveling no matter what. A toll-free number is something everybody knows how to call and everybody can call, regardless of what type of phone plan they have from their local phone company. It also keeps them from having to pay for an international long distance call. Also, many people choose to forward all of their other phone lines to their RangeRoamer toll-free number.
