Our most popular purchase package, which includes a new Siemens tri-band phone, $20 of prepaid global airtime, a SIM card, travel adapters, and Fedex ground shipping, a US-based number, and a Kensington travel adapter kit, is just $125. Regardless of which package you choose, everyone pays the same airtime rates in our covered countries.
RangeRoamer is designed to be simple. If you don't want to deal with technical stuff, just buy or rent a package. Packages are the easiest way to hit the ground running, and the bundles are discounted when compared to buying each part alone. They are guaranteed to work and we've done all the leg-work so you don't have to. However, if you already have a compatible cell phone (GSM, unlocked) you can just buy a SIM card from us and put it into your own phone. Please note that if you choose to buy just the SIM Card, we will provide service support but you will be responsible for solving any phone related issues yourself.
You are initially provided with $20 USD in prepaid airtime minutes so your phone works right away. To ensure constant service, an automatic-topup feature will automatically recharge your RangeRoamer account for you (using your credit card) as you use up your minutes. This makes sure you don't get cut off. You can turn this feature on or off as you wish. If your credit card is declined and you completely run out of prepaid airtime you won't be able to make or receive calls. If you prefer, you can also recharge instantly right from your phone as well as online.
